Outdoor covered area which should keep you and your pooch dry as long as there isn’t horizontal rain! Good little dog walking area too with a small hill. Nicely landscaped.

Useful dog-friendly gastro pub only 3 minutes off the M6 at junction 16. Good pub grub. Carvery too, though they only had gammon the time we stopped. Dog friendly inside, secluded outdoor seating and a pleasant enough walk along nearby farm tracks – just head across the field, turn right when you reach the track and follow up to the bridge over the railway.

Dog-friendly cafe on the Main Street near the middle of the village. Good food and great coffees!

Bright and attractive tea room right in the heart of the village. Dogs very welcome. Smashed avocado and the soup both very good.

A gem of a place. Outdoor seating with stunning views over the golf links. South facing sun trap, sheltered from the wind. Outdoor heating for chilly evenings. Comfortable and dog-friendly inside too. Wide menu.

Comfortable rustic interior. Several large sofas. Great soup. 3 minutes drive from Tollcross. Dogs very welcome. A favourite.

REALLY friendly. The landlord has the gift of making every guest feel they are the number 1 most important person. Dogs abound! Evening food. Salmon with lemon couscous and venison casserole both highly recommended!

Beautifully restored stable courtyard on a totally dog-friendly country house estate. Lovely old walled garden which supplies many of the café ingredients. First class beach a short walk through the woods.
Crail Harbour Gallery Tea Room
Lovely little cafe, full of character, in the heart of the village. Sunny patio with stunning uninterrupted views out over the North Sea. Great soups and paninis and the best wasp traps ever! A favourite haunt.
Crusoe Hotel, Lower Largo
Dog friendly in the bar pictured. Sheltered sun trap outside overlooking the harbour (if you ignore the parked cars!) -perfect spot for a lunch stop on a sunny day. Varied menu. Aubergine bake recommended!
