REALLY friendly. The landlord has the gift of making every guest feel they are the number 1 most important person. Dogs abound! Evening food. Salmon with lemon couscous and venison casserole both highly recommended!

Beautifully restored stable courtyard on a totally dog-friendly country house estate. Lovely old walled garden which supplies many of the café ingredients. First class beach a short walk through the woods.
Crail Harbour Gallery Tea Room
Lovely little cafe, full of character, in the heart of the village. Sunny patio with stunning uninterrupted views out over the North Sea. Great soups and paninis and the best wasp traps ever! A favourite haunt.
Crusoe Hotel, Lower Largo
Dog friendly in the bar pictured. Sheltered sun trap outside overlooking the harbour (if you ignore the parked cars!) -perfect spot for a lunch stop on a sunny day. Varied menu. Aubergine bake recommended!
The Golden Pheasant, Auchinloch
A handy stop on the road from the M8 to Bearsden. The only pub we have ever been in that provides a bed for visiting dogs! Our Suzy was very comfortable. Good soup and friendly service. Free range chickens outside.

Great dog-friendly evening option in the heart of St Andrews. Really good menu and amazingly quick service. Get the fajitas and the Caesar salad between you and share them both! A great combination!

Burgh Halls Cafe, Linlithgow
If weather is good and you fancy a secluded spot, come through the side entrance to the garden behind the Burgh Halls. Dogs outside only, but a great place to exercise your pooch while you sup. Soup a bit salty but good chips
