Delighted to find this #dogfriendly coffee shop just down from the Doctor’s pub in #Edinburgh near the #Meadows. Interesting story – it was an opticians previously and the new owner couldn’t get the name off the wall so kept the name for his café! Period interior.
Fresh, Dunfermline
Simple and friendly little café in the centre of Dunfermline very near the abbey.
Jack O’Bryan’s, Dunfermline
A characterful little #dogfriendly restaurant right next to #Pittencrief Park in the heart of #Dunfermline. Not a place for a quick bite but for something a little more special this is the place to come. Cullen skink and aubergine fritters both delicious.
Open Arms, Dirleton
Open fires and comfy sofas and all lounge areas are #dogfriendly. Dining rooms are not, so a meal stop with dog is not possible here, but it’s a great place for a cuppa after a walk through the woods.
Café at the Palace, Holyrood, Edinburgh
Delighted to discover that the Café at the Palace #Holyrood#Edinburgh is now #dogfriendly. A great spot for a cuppa after a walk in Holyrood Park.

Hatch, StAndrew’s
Delighted to find this dog friendly café in South Street..
The Place, Stockbridge, Edinburgh
A super new #dogfriendly café upstairs above the new stadium. Bright modern bar area with various tables and sofas and plenty of covered outdoor seating with stunning views to #Inverleith Park. Open for snacks during the day and drinks most evenings.
The Stag Inn, Falkland
Country pub in a particularly attractive location overlooking the green in historic #Falkland. Lovely place to stop for a drink on a summer evening, though can be very busy at weekends. #Dogfriendly throughout.
Oak Tree Inn, Balmaha
The Oak Tree Inn in #Balmaha, #lochlomond always a favourite.
