Although the seating is outdoors, this place just has to get a mention because of the unbeatable location in the Waterside campsite at the end of a lovely walk along the lake shore from the village. There is a single umbrella in case of a downpour!
Oxford Services, M40
An excellent dog stop, perfectly situated for a morning coffee en route north from London. Lovely fountain display with extensive covered seating area where dogs are allowed, plus plenty of outdoor tables too. Highly recommended!
The Snug at the Spreadeagle, Lymm
Cosy dog-friendly room just off to the right as you enter this imposing pub near the centre of the village. Latté was a little on the dark side but they gave an extra jug of hot milk so I could add my own!
Elmas Café Restaurant, Lymm
A delightful dog-friendly café restaurant in the heart of this attractive village with both a canal and a river, just a mile and a half from the M6 – M56 junction. Great place to break a long journey.
Lyme Bay Café Bar
Rustic relaxed place right next to the seafront. Very popular with young families. Dog-friendly throughout with a sunny terrace out the back. Big advantage is that it stays open serving food into the evening.
Tytherleigh Arms
Country pub with an attractive and spacious dog-friendly bar area. Great menu!
Coast Café, Seaton
Right by the beach – still serving lunch late in the afternoon. No dogs inside but partly covered decking area outside which is a real sun trap. Substantial sandwiches!
Beach Café, Charmouth
Simple café right by the beach. Homemade soups and huge doorsteps of granary bread. Cappuccinos etc are machine made.
Bell Cliff Restaurant and Tea Rooms, LymeRegis
Handy, dog-friendly place right at the bottom of the main street only a stones throw from the beach Very old rustic interior.
Courtyard Café, LymeRegis
Cosy little dog-friendly place right next to a beautifully restored working flour mill. REALLY good soup. (The mill is well worth a visit too, though you will need to take that in turns since it is not a doggie place.)
