Delightful dog-friendly authentic Greek taverna not far from Canonmills. Wide range of mezze dishes – excellent food. Our second visit this past week and we will definitely be back again! Split level with open staircase adds to the charm.
The Muse Café, Ledbury
Sunny spot up a hidden alley just off the high street. Secluded spot. Dogs welcome inside and out. Great omelette and eggs Benedict!
Piesse of Piddle, Wyre Piddle near Pershore.
Lovely riverside wine bar – outside decking area newly redone today! Really cosy inside too. Regular live music. Owner, Graeme, is delightful and made us visitors feel really welcome.
Coffee #1, Pershore
Snug little shop in centre of town – just opposite Tesco. Get one of the window seats and you can have the big windows opened right back to ‘get the outside inside’ for that continental feel.
Rose and Crown, Severn Stoke
Traditional 15th century village inn. Great food. Lamb Balti and Shepherd’s pie both recommended! Generous dressed side salads. Friendly.
Cafe au Chocolat, Tewkesbury
Cosy independent coffee shop in centre of town. Delicious creamy large lattes! Easy walking distance from the Avon lock.
King’s Head, Upton-upon-Severn
Sunny beer garden overlooking the river. Dogs welcome in the bar area if it is too cold to sit out. Pub grub.
House of Coffee, Worcester
Useful location very near to the cathedral – good food and coffee (not exceptional)- dogs welcome inside.
The Frog at Skirmett
Ancient country pub in and near unspoiled Chiltern villages in the Hambleden valley 13 mins off the M40 junction 5. Lovely garden with views over the surrounding countryside – dogs welcome inside too. Walks start right opposite the pub!
Killington Lake Services, M6 southbound
Lovely spot for a picnic behind the main building with stunning views over the lake with the fells beyond. Not sampled the food here, but if you’ve brought your own then head out back and bask in the sunshine! Only accessible when travelling south.
