Rustic relaxed place right next to the seafront. Very popular with young families. Dog-friendly throughout with a sunny terrace out the back. Big advantage is that it stays open serving food into the evening.

Country pub with an attractive and spacious dog-friendly bar area. Great menu!
Right by the beach – still serving lunch late in the afternoon. No dogs inside but partly covered decking area outside which is a real sun trap. Substantial sandwiches!
Simple café right by the beach. Homemade soups and huge doorsteps of granary bread. Cappuccinos etc are machine made.
Handy, dog-friendly place right at the bottom of the main street only a stones throw from the beach Very old rustic interior.
Cosy little dog-friendly place right next to a beautifully restored working flour mill. REALLY good soup. (The mill is well worth a visit too, though you will need to take that in turns since it is not a doggie place.)
Earthy little vegan place tucked away down steps only 3 minutes walk from Bath Abbey. Dogs very welcome. Great soup. Oat and almond milk latte and cappuccino which were both good, although apparently the almond milk doesn’t froth properly, so go for milk if you want to be kind to the person serving you!
Super dog-friendly pub right next to the River Thames. Lots of different areas indoor and outdoor with different moods. Great riverside walks nearby.
‘You can bring as many dogs as you like- a hundred if you want to’. So says the barman! Stunning interior and great location right in the centre of Bath. However, they were only doing sandwiches (and fries) when we were in, so we went elsewhere for lunch.
Dog friendly (how couldn’t it be with a name like Woof!) café in the centre of the village. Very popular with children too because of the babychinos and appealing big biscuits!
