Unprepossessing cafe very near the King’s Theatre. Plenty of seating, fully dog-friendly, and has the advantage that it is open in the early evening and does food! Service can be very slow if there is only one member of staff on.

Orocco Pier has a lovely sheltered patio out the back with a stunning view of the Forth rail bridge. Small covered seating area. If you have pooch(es) small enough, you are allowed to carry them through the restaurant!
Craigie Farm, just off the A90, has a dog friendly outdoor area round the side by the children’s playground. No dogs allowed inside here but a popular place for young families. Good food.
A good option when the other more trendy cafes are all full. Also open evenings. Dogs very welcome. Can be on the pricey side so check prices before ordering!
Tucked away on the old high street, this local pub has a surprisingly good chef! Chicken fajitas highly recommended. Quieter on a Sunday evening when there’s no football on the TV.
A favourite spot when we are walking our dogs on the Meadows – popular with families and the local Spanish community – extensive collection of outdoor toys -wonderful sun trap on a sunny afternoon. Dogs allowed inside too, though indoor space limited.
Café has an outdoor covered seating area so you can be there with your pooch come rain or shine in the warmer weather. No dogs inside – too crowded for extra legs! PS Love the list of products from the shop!
Dogs not allowed inside here but there is a sheltered sunny outdoor seating area overlooking the children’s playground. Secluded spot just off the A9 south of Inverness.
Ancient inn in centre of village. Dogs allowed in bar and inner dining room. Pub grub.
Delightful little place right by the beach. Easy walk from here to Chanonry Point to watch for dolphins.
